Viewers keep coming back for more! The hit TLC franchise 90 Day Fiancé has captivated audiences all over the world with its wild drama, untraditional love stories and jaw-dropping moments. Long-distance relationships are put to the test on the series as the couples try to figure out whether they should get hitched so they can start a new life together — or walk away because of the hardships. On every episode, it showcases the complexities of international romances, providing fans with some seriously cringeworthy and mind-blowing scenes.

One of the most memorable scenes was a fight between Danielle Jbali (née Mullins) and Mohamed Jbali that aired during season 1 of the spinoff 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? When the couple was first introduced to fans during 90 Day Fiancé season 2, fans immediately predicted they wouldn’t last because of the red flags in their relationship: their 15-year age gap, their perceived lack of physical compatibility and the fact that they did not kiss on their wedding day and did not consummate their marriage until one month after their nuptials. Danielle’s family and friends believed the Tunisia native was using her for a green card.

By the time they returned to the franchise for Happily Ever After?, they were already experiencing issues in their marriage. During a confessional in the season 1 premiere, Danielle claimed Mohamed received his green card 14 months after they tied the knot and two months later, he left their marital home in Sandusky, Ohio. During their separation, Danielle said she wanted to annul their marriage, which would put Mohamed’s legal status in America in jeopardy. He eventually convinced her to file for divorce instead, which would secure his legal status, and Danielle agreed under the condition they would remain friends after their divorce.

He later relocated to Miami. After being friends with him, Danielle admitted she still had feelings for him and wanted to give their marriage another chance. So she traveled to his new home in Florida to speak with him in person. When Mohamed learned Danielle flew to Miami uninvited, he called her and accused her of harassing him and threatened to call the police.

“I came down here on the intentions of getting him back. But because of the way he treated me on the phone, I’ve came to a different conclusion that he’s used me for the green card because you don’t treat someone like this,” she told producers in a cab ride to Mohamed’s apartment.

Danielle brought her “binder of evidence” that seemingly proved her hunch that Mohamed used her, which allegedly included text message conversations he’s had with other women, photos of him with other women and bank receipts of money he’s received from other women. She planned to confront him at his apartment, but Mohamed refused to let her in so they had it out on the street.

“Listen, I don’t want to see you here anymore, OK? You are not welcome here, you understand that?” Mohamed told his estranged wife. Danielle started to read a statement she prepared about their marriage, but he walked away. She followed him and threw a copy of her “binder” contents at him. “That was nice of you, that shows [how you really are],” he said.

“You walked away from me, I’m here trying to talk to you!” Danielle yelled. “You’re a user, Mohamed! You used me! You told me what I wanted to hear to get me to pull that f–king annulment. I am going to guarantee I will get your f–king ass deported because you’re a f–king user. You’ve backstabbed me this whole time!”

Mohamed called the police. “The cops took our statements and told me if I had thrown the binder inside, I would have been charged with domestic [violence]. But because I threw it outside, there was nothing done,” Danielle explained in her confessional.

After their blowup fight, Danielle filed for divorce and it was finalized in 2017. They are both currently single and Mohamed is still living in America. They’ve since been able to put their differences in the past and are friends.
