Age ain’t nothing but a number! TLC premiered its newest addition to the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way on Monday, June 3, and fans were introduced to five new couples with brand new love stories. Perhaps one of the most shocking couples on the show are Jenny and Sumit, who have a 30-year age difference and are facing tons of obstacles that may stop them from making it down the aisle.

Jenny is 60 years old and is from Palm Springs, California. She has three daughters and four grandchildren, and she’s ready to leave everything behind to start a new life with Sumit, 30, in India — even though he catfished her during the first couple of months of their relationship.

“I think that everyone’s entitled to happiness. I thought I found it once, I was married for 15 years,” Jenny explained in her confessional. “Everything was fine, as far as I knew, so when I found out that he was leaving me for somebody else, that was a huge blow to my self-esteem. After my divorce, life was scary. I didn’t really think I would find love again, to tell you the truth.”

But then she found Sumit, and she made big plans for her move to India. Jenny quit her job at a resort and applied for a visa so she could travel to India. But she and Sumit may face financial issues once she gets there because she won’t be able to receive social security payments from the United States government once she gives up American citizenship, and she only had $6,000 in savings.

“As soon as I get to India, we have to get married so I can apply for a work visa and wait for it to get approved. I have to get a job. I need to hit the ground running,” she said.

Money won’t be the only issue that the couple will face. Sumit’s parents do not approve of their son marrying a woman twice his age — and by marrying Jenny, he would also be going against his culture’s tradition of an arranged marriage. So he decided that he will keep his marriage a secret from his parents and his family. Fans will just have to watch to see if Jenny and Sumit with be able to overcome all of the obstacles in their way.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way airs on TLC Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
