We’re not done counting — yet! When we first met the Duggar family back in the mid-2000s on an early version of 19 Kids and Counting, we didn’t have nearly as many members of the family to keep up with. These days, the family has only grown — by adding some more of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s children (their youngest, Josie, is only 9), but also by including their children’s spouses and children to the mix.
So how many Duggars are married or courting at the moment? As of right now, eight of the Duggars’ 19 children have been married off, and no one is courting — as far as we know, anyway. Get to know all the married Duggar children below:
Josh Duggar — the oldest of all the Duggar children — married his wife Anna on September 26, 2008. Since then, they have welcomed five children together — Mackynzie, 10, Michael, 8, Marcus, 6, and Meredith, 4, and Mason, 2 — and they’re expecting another baby girl.
The two have been through a lot, and Anna stuck by her man after it was revealed that he cheated on his wife and had an addiction to sex and Internet pornography, which he sought treatment for. On September 26, 2019, the couple celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary, and Anna wrote in part on Instagram, “My how the past 11 years have flown by! The joys we’ve experienced together have far surpassed the shadows of sorrow we’ve walked through … I love you so much Joshua and look forward to growing old together!”
Despite being one of the oldest of the Duggar kids, John Duggar actually got married after several of his younger siblings. He and Abbie Grace Burnett wed in November 2018 and they told Us Weekly at the time, “We are so excited to be married! It was a beautiful moment and we so appreciate our friends and family for sharing this day with us.” They are now expecting their first child — a girl.
On June 21, 2014, Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard. They have since welcomed 4-year-old son Israel (aka “Izzy”) and Samuel, 2. The two moved to Central America shortly after welcoming their first child to serve on a mission trip abroad but returned to Arkansas before long. These days, Derick is working on a law degree.
Jessa Duggar married her husband, Ben Seewald, on November 1, 2014. Since then, they have welcomed three kids —3-year-old Spurgeon, 2-year-old Henry and baby Ivy Seewald. In May 2019, Jessa gushed over her husband on his birthday and wrote, “I married way out of my league, and I know it! There’s no one else I’d rather do life with ❤️❤️.”
On November 5, 2016, Jinger Duggar exchanged vows with Jeremy Vuolo. He’s a former professional soccer player and currently studying “theological and pastoral studies” at the Master’s Seminary in California. Those studies led the duo to move to Los Angeles with their only daughter, Felicity Vuolo.
Joseph Duggar joined the married bunch when he and Kendra Caldwell said “I do” in September 2017. They announced they were expecting their first child together just two months later and welcomed baby Garrett in June 2018. They are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of their second child, who is due in the fall of 2019.

I feel like the most blessed guy on earth 🌎… Lauren said YES! God definitely opened our eyes in his perfect timing to show us how we complete each other. The more time I spend with Lauren the more I realize how I can’t live without her. There’s no one else I’d rather spend my days and grow old with! #engaged #weddingplanningbegins
Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson got married in June 2018 after just five months of courtship. They announced in May 2019 that they were expecting again after experiencing a miscarriage as well. After Lauren’s family threw her a baby shower in September 2019, she expressed that she was “so thankful for all the ones that made this day happen” and that she felt “blessed and loved” at the event.
In February 2018, Joy-Anna gave birth to their first child together — a son named Gideon. On May 1, 2019, the couple shared that they were expecting baby No. 2 as well. Sadly, they lost their daughter to a miscarriage, which they announced on July 3. After that tragic event, Joy gave her husband a shout-out on Instagram, calling him “My anchor!”
Should we expect another Duggar wedding or courtship in the near future? Stay tuned.
