They’re supporting each other. Joy-Anna Duggar shared a post on Instagram giving her husband, Austin Forsyth, a sweet shout-out after the couple suffered a devastating miscarriage in early July. She shared a photo of herself and her spouse taken by her sister Jana Duggar and wrote, “My anchor!⚓️❤️🔥😍 PC: 📷 @janamduggar #datenight #bestfriend #hemakesmesmile.” They both look pretty content in the photo, so we hope they’re healing well after their loss.

At least one of Joy’s family members, Anna Duggar, took to the comments with a compliment. “Y’all look adorable! 👌🏻💞” Otherwise, it was mostly fans who had well wishes for the duo. “I’m glad to see you both smiling,” one person wrote. “Hope you both got to rest.” Another follower said, “So many prayers for y’all it’s good to see your smile Joy.”

Joy, 21, and Austin, 25, sadly experienced a miscarriage with their second pregnancy and the Counting On couple took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news with their fans. “Today marks one week since we heard these words,” said the caption of a photo of Joy in a hospital bed, where Austin pressed his forehead against hers presumably to show support. “‘So this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear a heartbeat or see any movement.’”

“We had gone in for our 20-week ultrasound and gender reveal,” the post continued. “It was a baby girl. Although we don’t understand why, God has given us unexplainable peace and comfort during this very difficult time. Yes, it still hurts and we have cried countless tears, but we know that we can trust the Lord.”

Since then, their shared account has also posted photos from a photo shoot they got to do with their baby girl. “We only had her for 20 weeks, life is fragile and precious,” that post began. “So thankful the Lord gave her to us for that short time! She will be in our hearts forever!” It looked like Austin was a great comfort to Joy during that as well, and we really hope they’re both getting the support they need during this difficult time.
