We’re so happy for you, Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson! The Counting On stars shared on May 20 that Lauren is pregnant again after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage. The two happily opened up about expecting their “rainbow after the storm” in fall 2019. On Mother’s Day, the Duggar son shared a sweet message with his wife after they lost their first pregnancy, but a week later it seems they had more than just the holiday to celebrate.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above and we are looking forward to this new season of parenting together!” the couple shared with People. Josiah, 22, and Lauren, who just turned 20 on May 18, made their announcement with a letter board sign that proclaimed, “Baby #2!” They also posed with a sonogram as the father-to-be kissed his wife on the cheek. Lauren couldn’t have looked happier as she showed off her barely-there-bump in a yellow, floral dress.

On Instagram, the couple shared even more: “We are so excited to announce that baby No. 2 is on the the way!!!! It’s hard to fully express just how grateful we are for God blessing us again with another precious gift! So, as we rejoice of the life of our second sweet baby, we also remember (balloon as symbolism) our other sweet baby, Asa, in heaven. God is so incredibly good!” On the post, they added the hashtags #MiraclesDoHappen, #babynumber2, #rainbowbaby, and #DaddyandMamaof2blessings.”

In April, the parents-to-be shut down rumors they were expecting a rainbow baby. “Someone just made that up,” they wrote on Instagram after a fan attempted to congratulate them. Now, it seems that “rumor” was actually spot on. Back in February, Lauren opened up about her miscarriage on Counting On. “A couple months ago, we found out that we were expecting, but suddenly thereafter, we lost our baby,” she shared. “I couldn’t believe it, and I was hoping it wasn’t true. … It was the worst day of my life, really.”

Now, the family is rejoicing as they prepare to welcome their first child, the fifth grandchild currently on the way for the Duggar family tree. In the past months, Kendra Caldwell, Anna Duggar and Joy-Anna Duggar have all shared pregnancy announcements. Jessa Duggar, who shared that she’s expecting baby No. 3 back in January, is just about ready to give birth any day now. It seems this family is taking the title of their TLC show seriously, because they’re definitely counting on.
