Melanie Gaydos was born with Ectodermal Dysplasia, a rare condition that significantly impacts her appearance. But that didn't stop her from obtaining massive success in the modeling industry.
In a new interview, the 26-year-old model, who has few hairs and three baby teeth, explains she endured a rough childhood and faced backlash over her condition.
“When I was about 16 I was really depressed and suicidal. I didn’t really want to live - I didn’t think that I would be alive past the age of 18,” she told ‘Barcroft TV.’
The inspiring young woman moved to New York four years ago and quickly gained attention from fashion photographers.
