Here’s a side of Blake Shelton we don’t usually get to see.
The 39-year-old country singer is only one month away from the release of his latest album, If I’m Honest — and he gave fans a glimpse of the cover art on The Voice.

If this isn’t thrilling enough, we also learned that his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, will be featured on his track “Go Ahead and Break My Heart!”
“I’m excited about it,” he told The Voice host Carson Daly. “I think it’s the best I can do.”
Last month Blake debuted the music video for his first single off the album, called “Came Here to Forget,” which boasts cryptic lyrics like, “Go ahead and check your phone, like I've been checking mine/Nobody's ex texting for a rewind/Looks like it's just me and you/Fall in love just enough to get us through/What we're getting through.”
He’s not holding back when it comes to the truth behind his newest music, either.
“For the first time, I had so much life happen like epic things crammed into a short period of time, you know?” he previously said on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown.

“The last year and a half of my life has literally blown up in my face. And that’s okay because I’m a country singer, and I least get to take all of that and put it into music.”
He then added, “It’s not like there’s all these juicy details, but it definitely just lends itself to the emotions and things that you go through when you go through a divorce.”
If I’m Honest drops May 20.
