Vanessa Hudgens has spoken out about the nude photo of her that hit the Internet on Thursday.
“I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me,” the High School Musical 2 said in a statement. “I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends."
Earlier, Vanessa’s rep responded to the Internet buzz that resulted from the scandal, claiming that Disney has parted ways with Hudgens and has decided to replace her with The Cheetah Girls' Adrienne Bailon in the mega-franchise. "Oh my, that story is so 100 percent not true," the rep told In Touch. "Vanessa's not an 'employee' of Disney, there's nothing to be fired from."
