Mom-of-six Kim Zolciak-Biermann talks to In Touch about dealing with anxiety and picking up the pieces after suffering a stroke last September.
“If my hand starts to fall asleep, I panic, because that’s how my stroke started,” the 37-year-old mom (of Brielle, 19, and Ariana, 14, from previous relationships, and Kroy Jr., 4, Kash, 3, and twins Kaia and Kane, 2, with pro football player husband Kroy Biermann) explains.

“I’m very anxious. I never want to go through something like that again,” Kim says of her life-threatening health scare, caused by a hole in her heart that she’d unknowingly had since birth.
Successful heart surgery followed in late October, and she was soon given a clean bill of health.
“It’s been hard, but I’m getting better,” Kim reveals.
“It’s a process — it really changes you. I couldn’t give two s--ts about some of the things I used to care about. Like people’s rude comments on Instagram. My husband and kids are all that matter. It could’ve been the end of the road for me so I just enjoy every single moment with them.”
