After rising to fame as a member of N*SYNC, the singer debuted his first solo album, Justified, in 2002. After Justified was FutureSex/LoveSounds, which gave us hits like “SexyBack” and “My Love.” Since then, JT’s been focusing on his acting career in flicks like The Social Network, Bad Teacher and Friends With Benefits.

As we anxiously await his new tunes, let’s look back at five of his best performances to date.

MTV Video Music Awards (2002)- Justin’s debut as a solo artist! The star performed his first single “Like I Love You,” showed off his sick dance skills and proved that he was capable of adopting a more hip-hop style. Oh, and his fedora was H-O-T.

Super Bowl XXXVIII (2004)- This Super Bowl halftime show was like no other. Jessica Simpson, P. Diddy, and Nelly performed, but it was JT and Janet Jackson’s rendition of “Rock Your Body”— complete with Janet’s famous nip-slip—that closed the show.

MTV Video Music Awards (2006)- Performing “My Love” and “SexyBack,” Justin’s sweet dance moves had the crowd on their feet and screaming.  His sexy grey suit topped off the swoon-worthy performance that still has us talking.

Grammys (2007)- Justin teamed up with “My Grammy Moment” contest winner Robyn Troup for a performance of  “Ain’t No Sunshine” and JT’s hit “My Love.”  The duo danced, sang, and won over the crowd in a snap.

Grammys (2009)- This was Justin’s last performance on a big stage before taking his long hiatus from music!  The star was featured on T.I.’s 2009 hit “Dead and Gone.” After this, he definitely was gone for a while.

With tons of famous collaborations under his belt, who would you like to see Justin team up with next?
