J. Lo: "You want to be
proud of yourself"

While in New York to promote her new movie El Cantante, Jennifer Lopez spoke out about what it’s like being in the public eye. “Nobody has a handbook for fame," she's said. "It's no easy thing to deal with.” Even before the Latin sensation married fellow superstar Marc Anthony three years ago, the interest in her was overwhelming. “It wasn't that I was courting that attention, it was just that I was just living my life. When I sat down for a second and... had a mature thought about it... I realized it was my responsibility if I didn't want it to be that way.” And as for advice she can offer to her fellow celebs, J. Lo advises, “You want to be proud of yourself at the end of the day.”
