In Touch has learned that Bethenny Frankel has left the Tribeca loft she once shared with ex Jason Hoppy and moved into a new 2,200-square-foot apartment just seven blocks away from her old apartment in the heart of NYC’s Tribeca neighborhood.
But the source tells In Touch she never wanted to leave the $5 million, 3,400-square-foot apartment that she bought in August 2011. “She never wanted to leave her dream home,” the insider tells In Touch. “Now Jason gets to live there alone.”
Jason has refused to leave their three-bedroom, three-bathroom marital home throughout their nasty 14-month legal battle — but in order to move on with her beau of roughly five months, financier Michael “Mac” Cerussi III, Bethenny has decided on moving out. A source close to Mac tells In Touch: “She needed to get away from the situation Jason was creating.”
According to In Touch’s source, the new two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom, $17,500-per-month rental certainly isn’t lacking amenities. The 16-unit doorman building has a gym, climate-controlled wine cellar and landscaped roof-deck outfitted with a bar and grill.
