On USA’s Chrisley Knows Best the famous family revealed they spend more than $300,000 a year on clothes, but In Touch has learned that their financial problems have not been left in the past.
“Through hard work and tenacity, we continue to be blessed [to overcome financial problems],” Todd, who had listed his debts at $49.4 million two years ago, tells the new issue of In Touch.
But the former real estate mogul’s financial woes are far worse than he’s letting on.
In Touch has learned, according to property records, that Todd has lost two homes to foreclosure — one in 2009, another in 2013 — and is now on the verge of having his $2.4 million Georgia mansion, which serves as the show’s posh backdrop, repossessed.
“Their financial struggles are ongoing,” an insider tell the mag, adding that the clan plans to downsize to a smaller home before filming begins for season two. “No matter how dire their financial issues become, they’ll stick it out together as a family.”
