We are keeping Kanye West in our thoughts as he remains hospitalized.
In Touch first revealed last week that the rapper, 39, was admitted on behalf of a nervous breakdown — and now a new report claims it stemmed from the death anniversary of his late mother, Donda West.
TMZ states November is always a difficult month for Kanye, ever since she passed away in 2007 due to surgery complications. He cancelled his show on November 20 — the day her funeral was nine years ago — and the following day cancelled the rest of his tour.

Last week a source revealed to In Touch that Kanye submitted to a drug test amid his mental health crisis. It was also recently suggested that the rapper-turned-fashion-designer is suffering from schizoaffective disorder.

“He is not sleeping and he’s also got this luminosity— he’s saying ‘I am Jesus.’ A manic schizophrenic, a manic psychotic person has a religious delusion or delusion of persecution, and that’s exactly what he is exhibiting," LA-based psychologist Julie Armstrong, who has never treated Kanye, explains.
"Mania often comes with an irritable mood, a provocative mood, and that’s all very indicative of a bipolar disorder.”
