Good Morning America’s Amy Robach explained that although the mother-of-four and her husband, Joe, 43, pleaded guilty on 39 counts of bank fraud, wire fraud and bankruptcy fraud, the reality star alludes to her innocence in her memoir, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again — a statement Tre said she continues to stand by.
“This is what happened — in my eyes,” Teresa said. “I signed some papers, there was no intent to commit a crime, I didn’t know I was committing a crime; I got indicted, the government saw it differently, I got sentenced, I got served time, I [did] what I had to do, and now I’m moving passed it.”
