Blizzards are bad news. Prison, also, is not great. And apparently Winter Storm Juno — which ravaged the Northeast United States this week— meant likely trouble for Teresa Giudice.

A former inmate, Beatrice Codianni, reveals the kind of trouble Danbury Federal Prison experiences in these kinds of weather situations.
“There is a huge problem with the sewers at Danbury backing up and overflowing into the kitchen following heavy flooding, such as there will be during this blizzard right now,” she says.
“Although they send people to mop it up, they don’t give them boots. Sometimes they will have gloves, but sometimes they won’t.”

Because they aren’t given the proper footwear, the prisoners in charge of cleaning would trudge the sewage all over the prison.
Codianna says there were multiple occasions during her 14-year sentence that officials had to turn off the water to deal with the faulty pipes, so prisoners were given bottled water to drink.
“One time, they even had to even bring in portable toilets for us to go to the bathroom in,” she tells 'Radar Online.' “It was very, very disgusting.”
