Tensions flared in episode 3 of Survivor: Samoa when Ben Browning called tribe mate Yasmin “ghetto trash” — and earned the wrath of Jaison, who pointed out that Ben's just a big bully. But even though it got him ousted, Ben still doesn’t think he did anything wrong. “I said what I said to make my point,” the bar manager from LA tells In Touch.

Eliminated October 1
Do you think it would have made a difference if you had apologized to Yasmin?
Ben: Not really! I'm not someone who cries over spilt milk. That’s the way it played out.
Did you like your tribe?
Ben: I liked a few people, like little Russell for sure. Russell was my favorite. Natalie was a sweetheart, and Betsy, she is really funny. And everybody else, not so much!
Were you blindsided by the elimination?
Ben: No, I had an idea from prior talks with some of the guys. I really don't focus on the negative. That’s how I live my life. I had a good time, I really enjoyed myself!
Now that you're out who are you rooting for?
Ben: Russell all the way! Russell is the man — he is playing the game. He is the puppetmaster! As soon as I found out that he was a millionaire I said, “He has a better chance winning than anybody else.” Because he has already a million bucks, so he did something right, in his life to get where he is now. More power to Russell!
What was your favorite part about being on the show?
Ben: Just getting away from civilization! I was really good taking care of my tribe and myself. I got us food every morning, every afternoon, every evening. Every morning we had quite good little breakfast. I got us a big bushel of bananas. We had plantains, papayas, lots of coconuts, and I would go out and catch crabs. And that was credited thanks to me because I was the one doing it.
What is next for you?
Ben: I am entrepreneur out in L.A., and hopefully by next year I’ll have my own bar open. It will be a rock and roll cocktail lounge!
