Bruce Jenner could be off the hook. It appears the 65-year-old wasn't texting when his tragic car accident occurred.
'TMZ' is basing this knowledge off a photograph taken by an independent photo agency moments before Bruce's Cadillac Escalade slammed into a white Lexus on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. The vehicle was propelled into oncoming traffic and hit by a Hummer. The female driver in the Lexus was killed. The outlet also reports that officers believe a Prius in front of the Lexus may have made a sudden stop, which triggered the crash.
Numerous reports have been flooding the media as to what Bruce was holding — if anything — in his hands, and now the website reports that he was possibly clutching a cigarette in his left hand seconds before the tragic crash. As previously reported, he was not speeding and he passed a field sobriety test.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department was allegedly trying to obtain search warrants for both Bruce's phone records and cellphone to determine if he was texting during the time of the collision.
