For Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, his debut on American Horror Story: Asylum was just that… a horror! “I wasn’t able to get through the first episode because it disturbs me,” the Voice coach admitted to In Touch at the GQ Gentlemen’s Ball in NYC on Oct. 24. “It’s like really a disturbing show.”In the season’s first episode, Adam gets frisky with his on-screen wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum in none other than— you guessed it— a haunted asylum. When the two take a break from hanky panky to explore the grounds, Adam has his arm ripped off by “Bloody Face,” a serial killer that haunts the residence.“It’s scary when you’re doing it; it’s scary when you watch it back,” the 33-year-old admits. “All the horror movies I’ve ever seen were a huge f*cking mistake, so just keep me away!”Despite admitting that the genre— and the show— scares the you-know-what out of him, Adam had a blast working on Ryan Murphy's hit horror-drama. “It was fun,” he says of filming. “It was like summer camp with a lot of blood.” So does this mean we may see Adam in future big-screen horror flicks? Don’t count on it.
