In light of an alleged child pornography investigation involving Subway spokesman Jared Fogel, the sandwich chain has suspended its relationship with the 37-year-old.
The statement from the company says Jared expects “no actions to be forthcoming” though both sides agreed suspending the relationship was "the appropriate step to take.”

The home of Jared Fogle — best known as “the Subway Guy” after his 200-pound weight loss led to him being spokesperson for the sandwich chain — was raided by federal agents in the early hours of the morning, today, July 7. Sources with the FBI told local news station Fox 59 that the raid of his Zionsville, Ind. residence was in connection to a child pornography investigation.
The search of the 37-year-old’s home — where he lives with his wife, Katie — comes months after Russell Taylor, the former executive director of the Jared Foundation, was arrested for child pornography.

Following his April arrest, Jared severed all ties between Russell and the foundation, which aims to eliminate childhood obesity with awareness and other educational programs.
At this time, it’s unclear whether the raid of Jared’s home is in anyway connected to Russell’s arrest.
Local news affiliate WTHR reports Jared has been detained outside his home (though it’s unclear whether he’s under arrest) as authorities remove electronics from his home.
