Christine revealed that she’s ready to start dating again during an interview with People in August 2022. “I would love to date. Love the idea of having a romantic partner,” she told the outlet. 

Waiting For Her Kids

Despite feeling ready to put herself out there, Christine admitted she was waiting for Truely, 12, to feel comfortable with the idea. “I talked to Truely about it the other day and she’s like, ‘Mom, I really like our life how it is now.’ Down the road,” she told People. “I’m just going to let fate take care of that one.”

Choosing Monogamy

While the Cooking With Just Christine star was raised in a polygamist family, she said she “will be a monogamist from here on out.”

“I want a guy who actually loves me and wants to be with me intimately,” Christine told People. “I just want to be an example to my kids more than anything. I always told them, ‘Do what’s going to make you happy,’ I have to do the same.”

She added that reflecting on her marriage to Kody helped her realize her thoughts on plural marriage. “I started thinking maybe this isn’t working for me. And then I stopped believing in polygamy,” the reality star said. “I realized I didn’t really want to live it anymore. I didn’t like sharing a husband or feeling like I wasn’t important.”

‘Keeping It Casual’

Christine revealed that she’s “casually dating” during an interview with Us Weekly in October.

“I’m not in the mood for any kind of a serious relationship, so one or two dates per person is all I’m gonna allow right now,” she explained.

The mother of six noted that she’s “grateful” she left Kody, though is still adjusting to her new single lifestyle. Christine said that dating is “such a funny topic” to discuss, adding, “[I’m] just keeping it casual … I really just like being me more than anything.”

Christine also said she’s “not interested” in a serious romantic relationship at the moment. However, she would “definitely love to get married again” in the future.

‘Not Kody’

When discussing the possibility of remarrying with former sister wife Janelle, Christine made it clear she’s willing to marry “somebody else, not Kody.”

“I’m open,” she said, garnering full support from her friend.

‘Starting Over Is Hard’

While Christine has insisted she made the right decision by leaving Kody, she also admitted that moving on isn’t always easy.

“No one ever wants to leave a marriage,” she said during the November 27 episode of the TLC show. “I’m leaving broken hearts behind and that’s what’s hard. Starting over is hard.”

Christine’s Celebrity Crush

During part 2 of the Sister Wives: One on One tell-all on January 1, Christine revealed that her celebrity crush is Shemar Moore. ​​”I’m blushing. The man is beautiful,” the TV personality said of the Criminal Minds star. “Just someone who treats women well.”

She also admitted to being attracted to Durotan, an orc character from a video game who has great husband qualities.

“Durotan is an orc and that’s what I’m really attracted to,” she explained. “The first time you meet him, he’s a warrior but he’s looking at his wife with so much love. He would do anything for her. And I just want that kind of love.”

Meanwhile, Janelle added that Christine is looking for “someone who really just cherishes her.”

‘I’m Dating Again!!’

In January 2023, Christine revealed via Instagram that she dipped her toe into the dating pool, asking her followers for any pointers they might have.

“I’m dating again!! Holy. Hell. Awkward,” she captioned her post. “Dating online is crazy! Any advice for dating at 50?!”

After telling her fans that she was dating someone “exclusively” on February 7, 2023, Christine went Instagram official with David on February 14.

“The first time he held me close, it felt like my soul took it’s first breath [sic],” she wrote via Instagram alongside a photo of the couple. “He’s wonderful and kind, incredible with my children and an adorable grandpa. I never dreamed I could find a love like this.”

Her Partner

Christine gushed about her relationship with David in a sweet Instagram post shared in March 2023. “Life is short, why not take a wonderful weekend get away for some fun new adventures,” she captioned a photo of her and Davis. “I love having a partner to go on these fun new adventures with. We could not get enough of the gorgeous views. Utah is a beautiful place, there are so many secrets to explore.”
