‘Teen Mom 2’ Alum Jenelle Evans Celebrates Her Son Jace’s 10th Birthday With a Nerf Themed Party

On Saturday, August 3, Jenelle shared a cute family photo of her and David, 31, with her sons Jace and Kaiser and his daughter, Maryssa. “Jace’s #NerfParty was a success! 🎉🥳 #HappyBirthday #PewPew 🔫💓,” Jenelle captioned the post. It seems like she decided to turn off comments on their family photo on Instagram.

In the next post, Jenelle shared a handful of shots from the party. “We had so much fun! Thanks so much @wilmingtonpaintballandnerf for having us! The kids had a blast and pretty sure this is the best party Jace has ever had. #HappyBirthday #NerfBirthday #10YearsOld #MakingMemories🤘🏼✨🎂,” Jenelle captioned the photo set.

Jenelle allowed comments on that post, and fans definitely did not hold back with telling the former Teen Mom 2 star how they really feel.

“You should have all your kids taken away,” one fan commented, and another wrote, “I hope you didn’t have cute little dogs running around that the kids had to aim at 😣.”

Obviously, Jenelle’s followers are not over David’s dog killing incident, and many of them feel that Jenelle and David should not have custody of the children they share together.

In April, David allegedly shot and killed the family’s French bulldog, Nugget, after the pup allegedly bit their youngest daughter, Ensley.

Shortly after the news broke, CPS launched an investigation into the family because three out of the five children that Jenelle and David share together were home at the time of the shooting.

Jenelle share Jace with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis, and she has a 5-year-old son named Kaiser, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, Nathan Griffith. David has Maryssa, 11, and a 5-year-old son named Kaden, both from previous relationships. David and Jenelle share one biological child together, 2-year-old Ensley. But since Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans, has legal custody of Jace and David does not have legal custody of Kaden, only Maryssa, Kaiser and Ensley were living with Jenelle and David at the time of Nugget’s murder.

In May, CPS removed Kaiser, Maryssa and Ensley from Jenelle and David’s home. At the end of May, a judge decided that Jenelle and David would lose temporary custody of their kids. The couple continued to fight CPS in court, and they finally regained full custody of Maryssa, Ensley and Kaiser again in July.

Since her kids were able to return home, Jenelle seems to be happier than ever. She even recently revealed that things in her marriage with David have improved since all of the stress of the CPS case is over.

On July 23, Jenelle posted a photo of her and David and added “#StrongerThanEver” as a caption.

And it also seems like Jenelle’s strained relationship with her mom, Barbara, has improved.

According to Babs’ Instagram, she also attended the birthday party that Jenelle threw for Jace.

“Jace at his Nerf Warrior birthday party today. [Ten] already, great, great time!!!” Barbara captioned a photo from the event.
