Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Reportedly Being Investigated by CPS After David’s Dog Killing Incident

According to The Blast, someone called the Columbus County Department of Social Services in North Carolina, complaining that they felt Jenelle and David’s kids were in danger.

The person who filed the complaint said they believed that the children who were in the home at the time of the horrific incident “could develop PTSD, depression or other mental health illnesses from witnessing dangerous acts” like the murder of their family dog.

The Columbus County Department of Social Services took down the information and are investigating the matter. A rep for Jenelle declined to comment at this time.

Together, Jenelle and David have five children. Jenelle shared 9-year-old son Jace with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis and 4-year-old Kaiser with ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith. David has an 11-year-old daughter named Maryssa and a son named Kayden from previous relationships. Together, Jenelle and David shared 2-year-old daughter, Enlsey, together. 

But since Jenelle’s mother has custody of her son Jace and David’s ex has custody of his son, Kayden, only Maryssa, Kaiser and Ensley were in the home at the time of the shooting.

In a statement to Us Weekly, Jenelle said that Kaiser and Ensley “were inside and just got done playing” when David killed the dog, while his 11-year-old daughter, Maryssa, “immediately went to her bedroom and didn’t come out all night until the next day.”

The incident happened on April 29, but the authorities weren’t called until the following day.

After the 911 call was placed on April 30, Jenelle fled their marital home with her two children and she confirmed that her marriage was “up in the air” via a statement on her Instagram Story.

She also confirmed that she was considering a divorce in a statement to Us Weekly.

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” she told Us Weekly. “[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized.”

“David and I are not on talking terms,” Jenelle continued. “I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that. It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends.”

“[I] would like for everyone to just give me my own time right now to figure things out and clear my head,” the reality star added.

But on Sunday, May 5, Jenelle shared two snaps on her Instagram Story that were taken on the homestead farm that she and David have on their property, confirming that she had returned to their marital home.

It’s unclear if Jenelle is back together with David or not, or if she is still considering divorce.

Meanwhile, MTV fans are horrified and have taken to social media to demand that Jenelle be fired after this shocking incident.
