Actress Jennifer Garner has been bonding with her three kids amid the coronavirus outbreak. On Wednesday, April 1, she took her two daughters — Violet, 14, and Seraphina, 11, — and her 8-year-old son, Samuel, on a lovely walk outside. Since they can’t go to any restaurants or public places, they’ve just been enjoying the scenery around their neighborhood.
When they went for their stroll, the Peppermint star had a great time chatting with her little ones. Jen caught up with Violet and Seraphina while Samuel pushed a baby stroller that belonged to one of the actress’ friends, who was also walking with them. The trio looked like they were in deep conversation when they walked ahead of the others. Sometimes, Violet would put her arm around her mom and flash a smile at her sister. All in all, it seemed like a pretty good day.
On March 19, the actress told Jimmy Fallon that her children have been acting like angels amid the pandemic. “I think I have the perfect age kids for this,” she said at the time. “Because they’re big enough to understand and to have the conversations. ‘Like, we’re built for challenge, we can do this, we’re a tough team. Let’s learn about a vacuum cleaner.’ But they’re not so big that they’re just like, ‘Well, I don’t care. I’m going to go.’”
Jen’s kids perfectly understand what’s been going on. The Alias star took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 31, to share a haiku Samuel wrote about the situation. “Coronavirus / we eat we sleep we stay home / Thrilling it is NOT!” the poem hilariously read. However, the best part about the haiku was that the little guy credited it to his pseudonym, Fitz B. Ireland.
“Things must be getting bleak when an 8-year-old boy adopts a pen name and voluntarily writes poetry,” Jen captioned the post. So cute! Looks like this family has been getting along very well amid COVID-19
