Going strong. Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend, John Miller, are “doing great,” a source exclusively tells In Touch. “He’s got a separate life from Jen’s Hollywood world, so it works for them.”

Keeping certain aspects of their lives apart definitely works in their favor. “[John]’s very independent and likes to take things slow. He has a young daughter that he’s also coparenting, so he’s not trying to insert himself in Jen’s public life.”

The businessman was previously married to Caroline Campbell before finalizing their divorce in 2018. The former couple of 13 years share two children. As for Jen, 47, she and Ben Affleck finalized their divorce the same year.

“He’s fine being in the background,” the insider continues. “He loves Jen and she loves him, they’re still going strong, but the coronavirus has forced them to see a little less of each other than usual right now.”

Although social distancing might be keeping the couple apart, “everyone seems to be moving on,” the insider says. “Ben has Ana [de Armas], he’s working a lot and more importantly, he’s clean and sober. It was a long ride, and a very bumpy road to get to this place in their lives, but Jen and Ben are both happy and grateful, they’re in a better place today.”

While it took the parents of Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8, a moment to get settled in their new roles, the former lovers seem happier than ever thanks to their new counterparts. Luckily, the 13 Going on 30 star “approves” of Ben’s new romance with the 31-year-old Cuban actress, another source told In Touch exclusively March 11.

“He’s really fallen for her,” the insider said. Although the two met before working together on the set of their movie Deep Water in November 2019, “their chemistry was off the charts” during filming.

At the time, Ben wasn’t looking for love as he was “focusing on his work and sobriety,” the source said. “He couldn’t help but be drawn to Ana, who’s like no other woman he’s been with.” Happy to see the former flames have moved on and are doing better than ever!
