*Insert Jaw-Dropping Emoji!* See Blake Shelton’s Transformation From ‘Austin’ to ‘Nobody But You’
Like a fine wine, Blake Shelton just gets better with age! The “Nobody But You” singer has transformed quite a bit since he burst onto the country music scene back in the early 2000s. One thing, however, has remained the same: Those trademark flannel shirts.
The crooner moved to Nashville when he was 17, and by 2001, he catapulted to fame with his No. 1 hit “Austin.”
These days, The Voice judge is in a long-term relationship with costar Gwen Stefani, and the two couldn’t be happier. In October 2020, he revealed they plan to spend the rest of their lives together after he proposed. “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020 … And the rest of my life,” he wrote beside a photo of her showing off the ring. “I love you. I heard a YES!”
The pair seems to be a match made in heaven, and the plaid-wearing southern gent knows Gwen so well that he even styles his ladylove on the hit NBC show.
“If anyone knew that you secretly designed my wardrobe, I would be so embarrassed,” the “Hollaback Girl” songstress joked in a December 2019 clip ahead of the season finale.
The couple has been together for more than five years, but they’ve managed to keep the spark alive. While at Warner Music’s pre-Grammys party in January 2020, an onlooker told In Touch exclusively Blake “kept smiling and couldn’t keep his hands off of her.” Gwen had a “massive smile on her face” as well, the eyewitness added. “Blake looked so proud to be with her.” How freaking cute is that?
Not to mention, the “God’s Country” stud gets along well with Gwen’s kiddos Kingston, Zuma and Apollo, whom she shares with ex Gavin Rossdale. “They feel like they have two dads,” a separate insider added of their relationship. “So far there are no huge issues.”
Apparently, there’s no real awkwardness between Gwen’s man and the Bush band frontman either. “They say hello if they’re in the same room when kids are being dropped off or picked up,” the same insider noted. “Gavin and Blake will usually do the usual guy thing, a head nod and a ‘What’s up?’ That’s it.”
