Just days after she and ex Jay Smith took to Instagram to air out all their drama, 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson is back in the hospital. On Wednesday, June 19, In Touch confirmed with a source close to the reality star that she had been hospitalized again for another lupus flare-up. The celeb has dealt with her health issues publicly in the past, but after shutting down rehab rumors and deactivating her Instagram account, she’s now handling things behind the scenes. Check out the gallery below to get the latest exclusive scoop on Ashley’s hospitalization.
A source confirmed to In Touch that Ashley, 33, was struggling with another lupus flare-up in the wake of the stress and drama she’s been dealing with in her personal life.

Drama Is Real
Of course, there’s only so much relaxing that can be done when you’re in the middle of a social media battle with your ex-husband. On Sunday, June 16, Jay accused Ashley of breaking into his home.

He Said, She Said
Jay claimed that Ashley threw a fire extinguisher through his window, hitting his friend in the head. Though she didn’t deny throwing the fire extinguisher, she seemed to side-step the claim that she’d broken in.

“It’s technically my house too,” she told In Touch in an exclusive statement. “We’re married, so if I have to break a window to get my and my family’s personal belongings, then I will.”

Back and Forth
In response, Ashley accused Jay of attempting to set her up for a conflict. “He told me to come there with a house full of girls to get the belongings. Then, when I got there, he refused to let me in and was screaming profanities at me through the door.”

Immigration Issues
“He is trying to provoke me to act out so he [can] stay in the country under mental or physical abuse,” she alleged. She believes that he’s trying to manipulate the situation to his advantage as he faces possible deportation.

Past Experience
Luckily, Ashley knows how to handle her health at this point. She’s had scary flare-ups with lupus before resulting in previous hospitalizations. In February 2019, she was in the hospital for nearly a week.

Creature Comforts
At the time, though, she had her husband by her side. The 90 Day star posted that his wife had in the hospital for “six days straight” while he was there visiting her.

Taking Care
Though they’d been through their ups and downs, Jay always seemed to rush to Ashley’s side when she was sick. In the past, she revealed to fans that he was a great caretaker, writing, “He’s always there for me.”

Doing Better
In March 2019, Ashley shared that her health was improving, and it seemed that she managed to avoid the hospital for a while after that. “My health is improving each day and I’m finally able to start living normally again,” she said at the time.

Making Strides
“With this procedure, it should keep me out of the hospital for a long time,” she continued, referencing surgery she underwent earlier in the year that aimed to help her get her health back under control.

Set Backs
It’s scary to see Ashley back in the hospital, especially now that she doesn’t have someone to sit by her side and hold her hand, but we’re sure her family and friends are stepping up to the plate during this trying time.
