The accusations are flying in the 90 Day Fiancé fandom, but Ashley Martson wants to clear the air. After being accused of breaking in to ex Jay Smith‘s home by throwing a fire extinguisher through a window, she’s setting the record straight. Ashley, who’s been distancing herself from her ex, chatted exclusively with In Touch to share her side of the story, but we’ve got all the details on the allegations that both Ashley and Jay made over the June 16 weekend. Check out the gallery below to see exactly what went down with Ashley and Jay
It all started when Ashley, 32, chatted with blogger John Yates on Saturday, June 15. The two went on Instagram Live together as the reality star claimed her ex stole a safe and PlayStation from her house.

Moving Out
She claimed that Jay had taken the items when he had moved out — which he had done while she was in Texas. When she tried to retrieve them from him, that’s when the trouble really went down.

Set Up
Ashley claimed that when she got to Jay’s, there were a woman’s things there — and she believed that her ex had tried to set her up so that they would get into a physical altercation which could help him in his deportation hearings.

Clapping Back
But Jay disputed Ashley’s version of the events. On Sunday, June 16, he also went on Instagram Live with John Yates to tell his side of the story — and Ashley came back, too, with both stars trying to explain what happened.

He Said, She Said
Jay claimed that he wasn’t trying to set up Ashley — but he did happen to have a girl over. He hadn’t planned on inviting his ex-wife into the house, but she barged in anyway. After she left, the cops came, and he’s pretty convinced that Ashley was the one who called them.

Lots of Drama
Between the two stars, they seemed to be describing multiple instances where Ashley came to Jay’s house — one where she got her passport and left, one where she spotted a woman’s things and left, and one where she threw a fire extinguisher through a window.

Calling the Cops
According to Jay, Ashley called the cops on him after two of the incidents. After she saw a purse and heels at her ex’s place, he said the cops came to investigate a report that his place smelled like marijuana.

Legal Trouble
In the other incident, he said that the police were there to check whether or not he had Ashley’s daughter’s passport. The couple had kept all of their important documents in the safe, and Jay still had some of them when he left.

Precious Cargo
He said that Ashley’s daughter’s passport wasn’t in the safe, but that Ashley’s was and she’d come to get it. When the police showed up, Jay claimed that Ashley had told them that he’d stolen her kids’ passports, but he verified that he didn’t have them.

The Fire Extinguisher
Finally, Jay started to explain what went down when Ashley broke the window in his house. He said that he had some girls and friends over when someone knocked on his door while covering the peephole.

Knock Knock
“This was like a week and a half ago,” Jay explained. He wasn’t expecting anyone and couldn’t see who it was, so he didn’t answer. And that’s when “a fire extinguisher f–king smashed through [his] f–king window” and hit his friend in the head. “It was Ashley,” he said.

The Other Side
Ashley’s story is a little different. When she popped on the live on the 16th, she claimed that Jay was expecting her — or at least he should’ve been. She admitted that she’d thrown the fire extinguisher through a window after she’d heard Jay call her a “bitch” or a “hoe” and refuse to open the door for her.

Full Story
Talking to In Touch exclusively, she confirmed that the fire extinguisher incident really did go down. “Yes, I did [do that] because he stole my safe with personal belongings, including passports that I needed to travel with my family, as well as my son’s brand new PlayStation,” Ashley said.

Technicalities
“It’s technically my house too,” the star explained. “We’re married, so if I have to break a window to get my and my family’s personal belongings, then I will. He told me to come there with a house full of girls to get the belongings, then when I got there he refused to let me in and was screaming profanities at me through the door.”

Pushing Buttons
The star claimed that the whole night was simply a set up. “He is trying to provoke me to act out so he [can] stay in the country under mental or physical abuse,” she explained. That’s why she believes the police were called.

Police Interference
On the Live, Jay said that his friend — the one who’d been hit in the head — was the one who’d called the police first. According to him, Ashley was going to be charged anyway. Both stars claim that the other called the cops on them for various reasons.

Endless Drama
Though their marriage might be fully over, it’s clear the drama is far from done, even when it comes to this specific story. On the Instagram Live, Jay said that he’s “done” with Ashley for good, while she admitted that she still loves her ex despite everything. Unfortunately, based on how this story alone is unfolding, it seems like they may never be civil with each other again.
