She already confirmed she was single on April 17, but now 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson is finally starting to open up about just what went down in her relationship. After filing for divorce a second time, the TLC celeb is ready to leave her ex behind and move on, even if that means he gets deported. While chatting with In Touch at the MĀSK Skincare launch event in New York’s Hemp Garden, the 31-year-old mother-of-two admitted her breakup with Jay Smith was “very messed up” — and when it comes to the issue of deportation, well, apparently that’s “his problem.” Check out the gallery below to get the full details on what Ashley said about her ex.

Ashely and Jay’s relationship has been a roller coaster ride.

Throughout the entirety of their time together, there’ve been plenty of fights and falling outs, but cheating is a big issue for Ashley. Though their marriage survived one cheating scandal, it couldn’t make it through a second.

Ashley’s moving on.

After Jay cheated on her again, she called it quits pretty quickly. “It’s all fun and games until your ass gets deported,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Have fun at the strip club with MY money and MY car you’re driving around without a license!”

Jay was fully cancelled.

Ashley, on the other hand, was living it up with a girls’ night out after putting her ex on blast. The star headed out with some of her ladies for a night on the town — and some shots, of course.

What’s next?

Now that Jay’s moved out, Ashley can go back to her life — but her husband will likely have to go back to Jamaica. And since the Pennsylvanian has confirmed that things are “done for good,” it seems like his deportation is inevitable.

But that’s not Ashley’s problem.

While chatting exclusively with In Touch, the star revealed that she doesn’t love that that’s how the system works, but it’s out of her hands. When asked how she felt about him having to go home, she admitted, “I would feel upset.”

She does care.

At the same time, though, her empathy has limits. “I saw where he came from and it’s not the best life,” she told In Touch. “But the reason why he would be deported is for what he chose to do.”

It’s on Jay.

“It’s kind of his problem,” Ashley said. Now that they’ve split, she’s staying out of it — and she’ll have to let her ex fend for himself unless she wants to get dragged back into the drama.

She doesn’t regret anything, though.

Despite the fact that her relationship and its end was “very dramatic,” she wouldn’t take any of it back if she could. “I don’t regret doing any of it,” she revealed. “I loved him, and you live and you learn.”

Fan support is helping.

Ashley admitted it’s “nice” to have everyone rallying around her during such a difficult time, but fans aren’t the only ones showing some love. Her costar, Leida Cohen, has also been speaking out to show support. “Can everyone please just give Ashley a break?” she wrote as part of a long message shared to her Instagram Story.

It’s not just Leida.

Ashley’s Happily Ever After? costar, Nicole Nafziger, also spoke up on her behalf. “She [is] a woman who put her whole heart into a relationship and has been hurt,” Nicole wrote. “I know most of y’all have been through something like that so there’s no need to call her names. Be [kind], always.”

What about Jay?

Though he hasn’t spoken up himself, Ashley did give a hint about what his life is looking like these days. The star admitted her ex is no longer living in her house, calling their relationship “not good.”

He’s moving on, too.

Though they’re still talking when it comes to having important conversations like paperwork for the divorce, they’re not going out of their way to stay in touch. And when it comes to getting back together, Ashley suspects he’s not interested either.

Is Ashley back on the market?

“I think I need a break for a while,” she told In Touch. “A nice long break.” Though she’s far from ready to start dating again, she’s not even sure what she’ll be looking for in the future. “I don’t even know,” she said. Jokingly, she added, “A rich man.”

As for her health…

“I have been pretty good,” Ashley admitted, though she’s had serious lupus flare ups in the past. “I quit all medication and [am doing] it the holistic way, and I have been doing really well.”

That was one thing Jay was good for.

Whenever Ashley’s health was at risk in the past, her husband always rushed to her side, no matter how their relationship was doing. “He has been a saint when it comes to my health,” she revealed in March.
