He’s done Meet the Press, been profiled extensively by the Washington Post, answered questions for Oprah and slow-jammed the news. But now, President Barack Obama has gone where no president has gone before… Between Two Ferns.
The Commander-in-Chief sat down with Zach Galifinakis on his Funny or Die show, appropriately titled Between Two Ferns With Zach Galifinakis, in which the Hangover star interviews various celebrities between two potted plants.
On the latest installment, the Prez and the 44-year-old funnyman talk politics—the White House planned the appearance with hopes it would encourage more young people to sign up for ObamaCare—but the segment wasn’t without its laughs!
Obama held his own as Zach cracked jokes, leaving nothing off the table (although the comedian did observe the President’s birth certificate was left at home).
When asked what it was like to be “the last black President,” Obama quickly quipped, “Seriously? What it’s like for this to be the last time you ever talk to a president?”
He got more than even when Zach noted that it “must kind of stink that you can’t run three times.”
“Actually I think it’s good idea,” Obama fired back. “If I ran a third time, it would be like doing a third Hangover movie. Didn’t really work very well, did it?”
Oh. SNAP! Watch the whole thing here:
