‘Teen Mom 2’ Alum Jenelle Slammed for Sharing Pics of Animals Amid David’s Dog Killing Incident

On Tuesday, April 30, cops were called to Jenelle’s home after a caller claimed that David, 30, had shot and killed Jenelle’s dog on the family’s property.

Shortly after reports surfaced, David took to Instagram to explain why he felt justified in murdering the pup.

“I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face. … Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog, and I don’t put up with that s–t at all,” he wrote on Instagram on May 1.

“I’m all about protecting my family,” he continued. “It is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for, and my family means that much to me.”

“You can hate me all you want, but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge [whether] or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME,” he added.

Along with the caption, David shared a video and photograph of his 2-year-old daughter, Ensley, and the alleged injury she sustained and fans weren’t convinced that it was enough to warrant killing the dog.

“So I watched the video,” wrote one fan in a comment with nearly 2,000 likes. “He full-on let her put her face in the dog’s face, and he knew what was going to happen. So instead of stopping it before she got bit, he just let it play out.”

Many fans urged Jenelle to leave David after this scary incident, and she did — briefly. She even revealed in a statement to Us Weekly that she considered divorcing David. “[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized,” she said at the time. But by May 5, Jenelle had returned to the couple’s marital home.

Shortly after it was made clear that Jenelle would be staying with David even after his dog killing incident, fans continued to urge MTV to fire her from the show.

On May 7, MTV announced their decision regarding Jenelle’s future on the show in a statement to Us Weekly. “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since,” an MTV spokesperson said. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

In the midst of her firing, an insider revealed what Jenelle’s next steps would be. “[Jenelle is] taking this time to focus on her future projects, her marriage and her kids,” the source exclusively told In Touch.

The source also added that Jenelle fully intended to stay married to David and that the couple was “planning to go to marriage counseling.”

But fans will never forget what David did. On Saturday, May 11, Jenelle took to Instagram to share a photo of a chicken sitting in her lap. “#ChickenWhisperer🧘🏻‍♀️✨,” she captioned the photo. On her IG Story, she also shared clips of more chicks, ducks and bunnies.

Fans immediately flooded the comments with outrage. “You shouldn’t be allowed to have ANY animals or children!” one fan wrote, and another commented, “Be careful it doesn’t peck your kids’ feet he might shoot it😦.”

Another fan summed it up, “How are they allowed to have animals????????”
