What is going on? On Tuesday, April 30, police were allegedly called to Jenelle Evans and David Eason’s home after he was accused of killing her French bulldog, Nugget. Police reportedly arrived to Jenelle and David’s property, a.k.a. “The Land,” after a male caller reached out and claimed that David was responsible for killing Jenelle’s pet.

“A call was made today, and it was relayed that the woman’s husband had killed her dog,” the Sheriff’s Department revealed to Radar in an update. “The Sheriff is out there right now investigating, and there will be an incident report filed later.”

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old posted a cryptic status on her social media page. “Feeling Devastated,” she wrote. The TV personality previously shared photos of her Pitbull mix and French bulldog on Instagram.

Now, the truth is coming out. “David shot the dog,” an insider told Us Weekly. “The dog snapped at [their 2-year-old daughter] Ensley and that prompted David’s decision to shoot it.” Jenelle’s 4-year-old son, Kaiser, was with her at the time of the incident, but her oldest son, Jace, 9, was on a cruise with his grandmother Barbara Evans.

It seems like the North Carolina native is clearly upset with the whole ordeal and took to Instagram to mourn her beloved pooch. “Nugget … I’m crying every day. I love you so much, and I’m so sorry,” she wrote. I’m speechless. You were my sidekick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons.”
