Jenelle Evans Admits Divorce Is ‘In Her Thoughts’ After Husband David Eason Killed Her Dog

Jenelle, 27, is still coming to terms with what happened on April 30. Police were called to Jenelle and David’s home after he was shockingly accused of killing her dog during a “frantic” 911 call.

Coming to Terms

A male caller actually made the jaw-dropping accusations, claiming that David was responsible. Now, Jenelle is revealing how she’s coping in the aftermath of Nugget’s death.

Family First

“At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” the 27-year-old reality star tells Us Weekly in an update.

Calling It Quits?

Of course, fans want to know: will this be the end of her relationship with David? Jenelle said that she hasn’t made any decision, but divorce has crossed her mind.

Considering Her Options

“[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized,” the MTV alum revealed. Jenelle also clarified what really went down that fateful afternoon.

Reason for the Shooting

“David killed my dog Nugget because he snapped at my 2-year-old, Ensley. He doesn’t put up with that and those are his beliefs,” she tells Us.

Feeling Overwhelmed

“He just took her and shot her in the woods … about two acres away from the house,” Jenelle added, noting how she’s still “shocked” and “upset” by what happened.

Kids at Home

The reality star’s son, Kaiser, and her daughter shared with David, Ensley, “were inside and just got done playing” when he shot the dog.

Reacting to the Ordeal

As far as David’s daughter Maryssa, Jenelle said that she “immediately went to her bedroom and didn’t come out all night until the next day.”

Fueling Split Rumors

Jenelle recently changed her Facebook status to “separated,” hinting that she’s facing marital issues with David. Now, Jenelle is taking time for herself.

Alone Time

“David and I are not on talking terms,” the former 16 and Pregnant star said. “I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that.”

Having to Unwind

Jenelle confessed, “It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends.”

His Side of the Story

Meanwhile, on May 1, David, 30, took to Instagram with a statement defending his choice to kill Nugget. “I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s–t at all,” David wrote alongside a video of Nugget and Ensley.

Firing Back

“I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me,” he continued.

Facing Backlash

“You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively,” David concluded. “The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”
