Sounds like they’re not coming back to the small screen after all. Despite rumors and reports to the contrary, In Touch can exclusively confirm that Jenelle Evans and David Eason from MTV’sTeen Mom 2 will not appear on Marriage Boot Camp on We TV. And since they’re no longer part of the Teen Mom franchise, the two of them might be done with reality TV. Scroll through the gallery below to learn more.
Jenelle, 27, has been a part of the Teen Mom franchise since 2011, but now MTV has decided to cut ties with her following news that her husband killed her dog Nugget.

David, 30, shockingly shot and killed their family dog Nugget for “snapping” at their two-year-old daughter, Ensley.

Outrage
Teen Mom fans were, understandably, outraged by the incident. They called for MTV to fire Jenelle from Teen Mom 2, which David hasn’t been a part of since he made several homophobic and transphobic comments online.

Not Speaking
Jenelle previously revealed that she and her husband were not on “talking terms” after he killed her dog. She also confessed that divorce was “in [her] thoughts,” but she hadn’t made any final decision on that matter.

A source exclusively told In Touch on May 7 that Jenelle respected MTV’s decision to stop covering her story next season in light of what happened to her pet.

It’s Over
In a statement shared with Us Weeklyon May 7, a spokesperson for the network explained, “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since. Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

The source who spoke with In Touch revealed that Jenelle is now “taking this time to focus on her future projects, her marriage and her kids.” Which certainly made it sound like she’s willing to give David yet another chance.

Counseling?
In fact, the insider told In Touch, “Jenelle and David are planning to go to marriage counseling.” So much for fans hoping this would be the final straw for the reality star.

Following MTV’s decision to drop Jenelle, some of her costars took to Twitter with their reactions. Briana DeJesus tweeted “wow,” while Jeremy Calvert wrote, “Reality is hitting NC hard this evening!”

Not long after the decision was announced, speculation began that David and Jenelle landed a new reality TV home: Marriage Boot Camp over on We TV.

However, it appears that’s not the case at all. It might seem like a good fit considering they’re both reality stars and are apparently seeking help for their marriage, but Marriage Boot Camp isn’t where they’ll find it after all.

Marisol Smith, a spokesperson for We TV, spoke exclusively with In Touch about the rumors and put them to rest.

“We TV has no plans to cast Jenelle Evans on Marriage Boot Camp,” Smith revealed. She didn’t explicitly mention David, but it would be a bit difficult to cast him on the show without his wife.

She’s Not Shocked
So, is Jenelle upset that it appears her reality TV career may be over? She told Us Weekly on May 8 she “was a little bit shocked” about MTV’s decision to fire her but also “saw it coming.”

She said she supports the show and the other moms on it and wishes them all “the best success.” And while it may have seemed like she was just headed to another network, it appears Jenelle will instead focus on business endeavors away from reality TV cameras.
