Might it be the end of an era? Jenelle Evans and her husband, David Eason, have been at the center of controversy after it was revealed that he shockingly killed her beloved dog, Nugget, on April 30. Several fans are outraged by the incident and venting their frustrations on Twitter, calling for MTV to fire Jenelle from Teen Mom 2 as a result. Fans were completely taken aback when a report surfaced on April 30, claiming that David, 30, killed Jenelle’s French bulldog. It was revealed that a male placed a “frantic” call to 911, blaming David for the deed.

Since then, more unsettling details about the ordeal have come to light. Jenelle’s husband decided to shoot the dog after Nugget snapped at their two-year-old daughter, Ensley.

Now, several people are taking to Twitter to share their thoughts and many are begging MTV to take action. “Enough is enough! #mtv needs to FIRE #jenelleevans if no other reason than to no longer put money into a place that houses her f–k wit of a #husband David,” one wrote.

Grieving Her Loss
Meanwhile, Jenelle, 27, recently shared a statement on Instagram, revealing how heartbroken she is over the death of Nugget. “I’m crying everyday,” she began. “I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless.”

“You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me,” the Teen Mom 2 star continued. “You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons.”

The MTV alum concluded her emotional Instagram post, “Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed … you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back.”

Several of Jenelle’s followers are also pleading with her to part ways with David for good. Based on her recent interview, it seems like she’s considering the idea.

“David and I are not on talking terms,” Jenelle told Us Weekly. “I’m too hurt and upset at the fact he did that.”

“It’s taking time to get over this whole situation, and it’s making me feel he’s very cruel and doesn’t have a heart on many ends,” she added.

So, is she considering getting a divorce? “At this time, we are dealing with this rough situation. I want to focus on what’s best for me and my kids,” Jenelle said. “[Divorce is] in thoughts, but nothing is finalized.”

Meanwhile, David released a statement of his own via Instagram on May 1, defending his decision to kill Nugget. “I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face … whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I don’t put up with that s–t at all,” he wrote.

Defending His Decision
“I’m all about protecting my family, it is my life’s mission,” David added. “Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isn’t the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”
