Rich Dollaz and Safaree Samuels Get in Heated Confrontation Over Erica Mena at ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Reunion
There was no shortage of drama! Rich Dollaz and Safaree Samuels squared off during the second Love & Hip Hop: New York reunion, which aired on March 18. When Erica Mena became a hot topic on the special, Safaree rushed to her defense and things only escalated from there.
As fans may recall, Rich sat down with Safaree to confront him about dating his ex, Erica, and it looks like it’s still a source of contention for the two. During the reunion, Nina Parker asked Rich how he felt about Safaree not being forthcoming when it came to his relationship with Erica.
“Me and Safaree — although we might not be friends — I felt like we had enough one-on-one moments [that he could be truthful with me],” Rich explained, before addressing how he’s not the last boyfriend she had. “Erica is however many f–king moons from me. I’m not the last person she dated, so therefore, it wasn’t a big deal [and shouldn’t have been kept a secret].”
Clearly, Safaree didn’t like Rich chatting about his future bride as he interjected, “yo, your pants look way too tight … Don’t talk about somebody like that. She’s not here.”
Within a matter of seconds, Rich lunged toward Safaree and security had to intervene. Safaree seemed to be getting a kick out of the ordeal because he then trolled Rich for running in “slow-mo.” While all of this drama was popping off, Erica took to Instagram with a video of herself cracking up about the incident while watching the reunion at home with Safaree’s sister.
Safaree explained that he’s always going to defend Erica because she’s going to be his wife. The rapper popped the question on Christmas Eve 2018 and recently took to social media with a heartwarming message which revealed how long he’s had feelings for her.
“When we did Scared Famous I use to say so many things jokingly not knowing it would become real life. I can’t wait for you to be my wife,” Safaree wrote. “I am so in love with you. The respect you give me, the way you uplift me and make me feel like a man is something people wouldn’t believe. I get to be with the real you and I love every second of it.” He’s got her back to the fullest!
