A Suspicious Video Has ‘L&HH’ Fans Thinking Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels Are Already Expecting
Fans were beyond surprised when Love & Hip Hop: New York star Safaree Samuels proposed to Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Erica Mena on Christmas Eve after a few short months of dating. Perhaps that’s why they’re reaching so hard trying to find a reason for taking the plunge so fast! On February 8, the rapper posted a video working in the studio with his lady supporting him, and fans immediately began questioning if the reality star is pregnant.
“Posted with my A&R listening to some new new. Why She’s bopping like a thug tho!” he wrote alongside the video. In it, both he and Erica are wearing matching neon sweatshirts and bobbing their heads. However, it was a lump over Erica’s stomach that got pretty much all of the attention.
“So that’s why you proposed so fast 😂🤦🏽♀️ you always said you didn’t want to have a baby & not be married. Congrats 🙏🏽💃🏽,” said one follower. Another chimed in, writing, “She looks like a baby bump is growing because her stomach is poking a little bit. ❤️” “She is so pregnant, that sweatshirt not hiding it lol 🙌🏾” agreed a third.
TBH, it looks more like she had an apple or tennis ball in her waistband than a baby bump. For all we know, it’s just a weird angle, because the very same day she posted videos working out where her stomach is flat as can be. But on the other hand, she did post an Instagram Story with Justina Valentine where she suspiciously covered her tummy with a “mood” gif, but that could just be to hide an awkward angle. We would be shocked if she’s actually expecting a child, though it would explain the speedy engagement.
Still, it seems like these two are truly head-over-heels. On February 9, Erica posted a photo of her man to her Instagram Story with the caption, “I thank god for you every day.” How sweet!
