‘Love and Hip Hop’ Newbie Anais Is Sure to Keep the Rest of the Cast on Their Toes
VH1 flagship reality show Love & Hip Hop: New York is back with a vengeance. The O.G. series that started it all just launched its eighth season with a lot of familiar faces… and a couple new ones! We said goodbye to departing cast members Cardi B, Tara Wallace, and Amina Buddafly, but in their wake come three new full-timers. Get the scoop on Anais, Juju C., and Lil’ Mo below — and then tune in every Monday at 8 p.m. EST to see the drama they spark!
Anais
Anais is already a reality star — in Puerto Rico, at least! The Dominican singer won Season 2 of the Univision Puerto Rico reality competition Objetivo Fama. Now, according to VH1, she’s ready to conquer English language reality TV with her free spirit, her flirtatiousness, and her filter… or lack thereof! (Did you know she once posted her vaginal reconstructive surgery to Instagram?)
Juliet “Juju” C.
Now that Juliet is a full-time cast member, get ready to pick up some more “Juju Jewels!” That’s what this Brooklyn-born entrepreneur calls her words of wisdom. And she’s got the expertise to back it up — as a role model for curvy women living healthily and thriving through fitness, skincare, relationship skills, and business acumen. Pick up her book Secrets of a Jewel if you wanna know more… It might even have secrets about her engagement to rapper Cam’ron!
Lil’ Mo
This VH1 show upped its hip hop quotient with this new hire: You’ve heard Lil’ Mo collaborate everyone from Missy Elliott to Ja Rule to Jay Z. When she’s not advancing her music career — with four studio albums under her belt — this R&B singer is enjoying downtime with her third husband, boxer Karl Dargan, and their combined fam of eight kids.
