She’s throwing subs! It’s been nearly four years since Erica Mena left the cast of Love & Hip Hop: New York, but the current cast still found a way to bring up her name. In a scene that aired on Monday, February 25, LHHNY stars Joe Budden and Safaree Samuels got into a heated argument after Joe confronted Safaree of bringing his girlfriend, Erica, to a cast trip to Costa Rica — which put Joe’s girlfriend Cyn Santana in a potentially violent situation. But Erica took to Twitter to defend her man — and she seemingly hinted that Joe may have cheated on Cyn.

“I don’t get it especially since no one really cared, let alone asked about Cyn whereabouts when he brought another female to my man’s crib. Who cares,” the 31-year-old wrote on Twitter.

All of the drama went down while the LHHNY cast was on vacation together in Costa Rica and toward the end of their trip, they found out that Safaree brought Erica with her without telling anyone. Joe, 38, confronted Safaree, 37, because he felt that Erica’s presence would be a threat to Cyn, 27. Cyn used to date Erica and their relationship ended after they got physical with each other — and Joe was worried that they would get into another confrontation or altercation with each other if they crossed paths.

Safaree felt that he didn’t have to tell Cyn or Joe that he was bringing Erica. But Joe brought up Safaree’s ex Nicki Minaj and he said that if Joe was dating Nicki and he brought her on the vacation, it would have been Safaree’s business.

Joe defended Cyn and he was upset that Safaree didn’t feel like he should have let them know about Erica or that Safaree felt that he didn’t have to apologize to them. “You’re not a stranger to me, we talk. I’ve been to your home. You’ve been to mine,” Joe said. “I don’t take these types of things lightly.”
