The pressure is real. Rich Dollaz catches up with his daughter Ashley to discuss her mom Miracle Kaye Hall’s serious legal troubles on the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York. Rich said he knew the stress was taking a toll on Ashley, because it was just revealed that receiving a plea deal was not an option for her mom. Miracle is now heading to court on an aggravated assault charge, meaning she could spend up to 20 years in prison, and Ashley is taking the news hard.

“I’m basically just trying to process. This was nothing we could ever prepare for,” Ashley said. “There’s really a lot on my plate right now and I don’t want to have to end up quitting college,” she explained. Rich could see that she was worried about her siblings during this trying time, but said there’s no way he’s allowing her to give up on her education and throw “all that away.”

“My concern is that because you’ve seen people put up with things, doesn’t mean you should ever put up with those things,” Rich said while comforting Ashley. “If anyone puts their hands on you, you pick up the phone, and you call me.” Ashley then breaks down into tears and explains how the situation is overwhelming. “Mom, I need her, we all need her,” she says.

Miracle is reportedly facing possible jail time after she shot her husband. Even though her husband survived and did not press charges, the state decided to forge ahead with the case. Rich said all they can do is put their resources together, to give his baby mama Miracle the best support and defense they can as a family. The father-daughter duo recently celebrated Miracle’s birthday, and they both shared heartwarming posts about how much she means to them.

“Happy birthday you beautiful being you — think you know I love me some you. Send my baby’s mama birthday wishes,” Rich wrote via Instagram. Ashley captioned her post, “Screaming happy birthday to my beautiful ride or die motha! Could not imagine where I’d be without you! Thank you for molding me into the young adult I am today! I love you more than you know!”
