Recently, Teen Mom 2 alum Jenelle Evans has been taking some serious heat, and now she’s firing back. On Monday, July 15, the reality star took to Twitter to defend herself against some seriously controversial reports, including claims that she used husband David Eason‘s dog killing incident for publicity. Calling herself a “damn good mom,” she lashed out at anyone who would suggest otherwise. Check out the gallery below to get the latest update on Jenelle and her family.
“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018,” they said in a statement. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”
Eventually, the investigation was closed, no charges were filed and reports emerged that Jenelle had even recanted her story about David shooting Nugget, claiming that she’d “fabricated” it.

No Physical Proof
“She advised that she never heard or saw anything to indicate that David shot her dog,” said a report obtained by Radar Online. “She [said], ‘I don’t know if she was shot or killed or not.'”

Inconsistencies
Later, she allegedly changed her story again. She seemed to claim that it was the police chief that believed it had been a PR stunt, not that she ever said it was one. “[He] left me a voicemail, the chief of police, and he wanted me to call him back to discuss whether it was a PR incident or not,” she said in an interview.

Denials
However, she still seemed to deny she had any knowledge about what happened to Nugget. “I have no idea,” she said when asked if the dog is still alive. “You would have to ask David that. I mean, I still have not asked David to this day.”

Rehoming Pets
The star admitted that, at the time of the interview, she actually didn’t have any dogs. “We actually recently just, we had to give our pitbull away recently because he killed one of our pigs. So currently, we have no dogs,” she said.

New Furry Friends
As of Sunday, July 14, however, that’s no longer true. David revealed on his YouTube account that the family had adopted two new dogs, Junior and Buddy. “How. How is he allowed to own MORE dogs?” a fan commented on the video.

Facing Criticism
Despite David explaining why these two new dogs would be a better fit for their family, it was that decision that inspired a wave of hate from people who’d been following their story online — and that’s what encouraged Jenelle to lash out on Monday, July 15.

Good Mom
Responding to news stories about the family, Jenelle criticized coverage that mentions her custody battle without noting that she regained custody of her kids. “If you were on TV the same thing would happen to any of you,” she told one fan.

Making Allegations
“Obviously all the accusations were never true, and the way CPS conducted themselves was illegal,” she claimed on Twitter. “You don’t even know half the details but everyone wants to report against me when the case was dismissed for a reason.”

Standing Her Ground
“None of you can stand the fact my family is back together,” she continued in a separate post. “I’m a damn good mom, regardless of anyone else’s opinion. Don’t let anyone bring you down! 💓”
