Just when Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian thought they could take over another city, they might not be able to any longer—at least not any time soon.
A new report states “NO ONE,” so far, wants to give away his or her summer lease to them.
According to TMZ, real estate sources say the two reality stars have been looking for a massive Hamptons property to rent for their new spin-off, Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons, but are not having any luck.
The reason being? Residents fear they’ll bring “negative exposure” to the neighborhood and too many paparazzi will be “swarming” around the wealthy communities. And we all know how popular the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan is with the photogs.
Last month, Radar reported a similar story, but talked to the area’s leading local website Hamptons.com about having their new pop-up Dash store in the Long Island enclave.
“People will either decide to avoid the Kardashian store completely, which could affect the surrounding stores,” the statement read, “or on the flip side you could have the place so completely and utterly mobbed that hopefully the businesses around it will benefit from the overflow.”
E! announced the Kardashian spin-off show the end of March, saying the show will air sometime this fall—if all goes according to plan, of course.
