Miley Cyrus is dealing with the heartbreak only a pet owner can understand.

The 21-year-old songstress took to Twitter to share the tragic news that her dog Floyd, an Alaskan Klee Kai, passed away.

“I don’t want to say it because I don’t want it to be real… But my precious baby Floyd has passed away,” she tweeted. “I am broken.”

She revealed the tragic news hours after declaring yesterday “the worst day of her life,” without explaining why.

Once she shared the tragic news with her fans, it was clear how shook up Miley was by the loss.

“I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him,” she tweeted. “This is unbearable. What am I gonna do without him?

Miley, who is currently on tour, is set to make a stop in Boston tomorrow—and apologized in advanced for “not being herself” and promised to “try [her] best to be [her] best” despite the obvious grief she’s experiencing.

The death of Floyd, who was adopted in 2011, comes shortly after the “Bangerz” singer lost another pet—her Yorkshire Terrier named Lila—only a few short months ago.

In December, Miley revealed to Rolling Stone she really cried in her “Wrecking Ball” music video, as she was mourning Lila.

“That was real,” she said of her tears. “My dog just passed away.”
