Kourtney Kardashian is known for her toned body, but working out is about more than just getting in shape — she says it has also become emotionally comforting to the reality starlet.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed that working out has helped her combat her anxiety.

"I didn't know that I would be going through a breakup and just an overall crazy year. Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently. I'm generally not a nervous person but I get anxious," the mother-of-three revealed on her website.
"I try to exercise [five] days a week. My anxiety is always worse in the mornings so that's when I schedule my workouts. I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up. I have to do something fast to really kill [my anxiety]."

The 36-year-old had an emotional year after she and her boyfriend of nine years, Scott Disick, called it quits amid cheating rumors and his struggle with substance abuse.
