How Julianne Hough is
Coping After Breakup
From Ryan Seacrest
Breakin’ up is hard to do… but Julianne Hough is hangin’ in there.
Days after splitting with her beau of nearly three years, Ryan Seacrest, Julianne's brother, Derek Hough, tells In Touch that his sis is doing A-OK. "She's doing good," Derek told In Touch after his first performance with Kellie Pickler on the season 16 premiere of Dancing With the Stars on Monday night.
According to reports, Julianne, 24, and Ryan, 38, called it quits due to their demanding schedules.
But if you expected Julianne to sit at home curled up in her jammies with a big bowl of Ben & Jerry’s, don’t hold your breath.
The Rock of Ages star has been seen hitting the town with girlfriends, and was even spotted spending some time with Derek and former DWTS pal Maksim Chmerkovskiy outside Beacher's Madhouse at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood over the weekend.
NEWS: Derek Hough and Julianne Hough Talk New Project Together
"We work hard, and it's why we're attracted to each other," Julianne recently said of her relationship with the American Idol host. "We both are attracted to drive, ambition and success — depending on what you think success is."
And thanks to that ambition, the blonde beauty has a new project coming up with her brother that’s bound to keep her mind off of her breakup.
The siblings will be creating a Starz show about competitive ballroom dancing called Blackpool. According to Derek, the show “dives into the darker side of competitive ballroom dancing, conveying the politics, scandal and love and sex triangles involved in that world.”
Do you think the pair— who began dating in Spring 2010—will try and make amends or is their relationship over for good?
