John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett Are ‘Having the Most Amazing Time’ on Their Honeymoon in Finland
Love is in the air for pilot John David Duggar and his new wife, Abbie Grace Burnett! The cute couple is currently enjoying their honeymoon in Finland after tying the knot in November.
“We are having the most amazing time on our honeymoon,” the duo gushed to Us Weekly. “The culture, the people and the scenery are all amazing, but none of that compares to being together and making lifelong memories.” So cute!
“We are still in awe of the love and kindness God has extended us by giving us the gift of one another,” John, 29, and Abbie, 26, added. “Married life is fantastic!”
The Counting On stars said “I do” on November 3 in front of a cool 1,000 guests. “We are so excited to be married!” they said at the time. “It was a beautiful moment and we so appreciate our friends and family for sharing this day with us. Most of all we are thankful to Christ for bringing us together. This is going to be an amazing journey!”
On the Duggar family website, the couples’ loved ones sent their support for the union. “We are overjoyed for the two of them to begin their married life together,” read the announcement. “We know the Lord has brought them together and will use them to reach many people. We are so happy to be surrounded by family and friends and we thank you all for your prayers and support for John and Abbie!”
The two only announced they were courting back in June, but we had a feeling it was much more serious than your average courtship when they created a joint Instagram account — something most Duggar couples reserve for marriage or engagement. One month later in July, they announced that they were engaged.
Since then, fans haven’t stopped gushing over the lovebirds. “I agree with an earlier comment that John has a permanent smile since meeting Abbie. You two are so sweet,” said one fan on Instagram. Another chimed in to say, ”I’ve never seen him so happy. On the last episode of the season when he introduced her he was positively giddy. Something I’ve never seen from John David. Couldn’t be happier for them!”
