Fans Have Questions After Jana Duggar Says She ‘Loves’ Her ‘Home’: ‘When You Gonna Grow Up?’
Moving out? Not yet! Counting On star Jana Duggar took to Instagram late last week to reveal she loves her living situation, much to the surprise of some fans.
“Love this place I get to call home!” the 29-year-old captioned a gorgeous photo of a farm. In response, however, one troll fumed, “When you gonna grow up and leave? I mean you’re almost 30. You gonna play Cinderella your whole life?” Ouch. Another asked, “Have you ever even for a moment considered getting a home of your own and living your own life?” while a third chimed in, “Have you ever thought of moving out in your own? (I’m not asking in a rude manner — I lived at home with my family until was in my 30’s before I met my husband). In a way, I wish I would have the experience of feeling completely self-sufficient? … just curious is all … I don’t see anything wrong with staying where you are or anything. Family is everything for sure!”
The eligible bachelorette is currently single, something that her parents aren’t exactly thrilled about. An insider exclusively dished to In Touch on September 25 that Jim Bob, 54, and Michelle, 53, are trying their best to be “patient” with their daughter as she searches for Mr. Right, but deep down they’re “frustrated” with the wait. “Meet a nice boy, date, get engaged, marry and start a family right away — that’s just how the Duggars do things,” they said. “But Jana isn’t going to marry someone just to follow the family norm — and that’s refreshing.”
In August, the TLC star talked about settling down after a fan told her they “would love” to see her “finding her handsome prince.” In response, the brunette beauty wrote back, “Maybe he’s riding in on a green turtle instead of a white horse. [I’m] still searching for Mr. Right,” she said, before adding, “In the words of Michael Bublé, ‘Just haven’t met [him] yet!’”
Although Jana has been linked to everyone from Lawson Bates to Tim Tebow, it’s clear this reality TV babe won’t settle. And sure, while she may feel *some* pressure to find the right partner after her twin brother, John David Duggar, got hitched, for now, she’s focusing on her Instagram aesthetic and colorful garden.
