Jana Duggar Says She ‘Couldn’t Have Asked For a Better Twin’ Than John David After His Baby’s Gender Reveal Party
Twins forever. Jana Duggar shared a congratulatory message for her brother, John David Duggar, after he and his wife, Abbie Grace Burnett, announced the gender of their baby — a girl. “Congratulations to John and Abbie!! 😃🎀” Jana, 29, began her post on August 20. “I couldn’t have asked for a better twin to go through life with than John, and their little girl is so blessed already that she got such an amazing guy for her daddy!!”
The Counting On star continued, “And seeing what a tender caretaker Abbie has been for her family and in her job as a nurse, I know she is going to be an amazing mother!! Love y’all so much!! 💞🎀 #itsagirl #niece.” Could Jana’s message for her twin have been any sweeter?
John, also 29, and Abbie, 27, revealed the sex of baby No. 1 to the world via a video posted on TLC‘s website. “We are so excited to announce that we are having a …” John began before his wife jumped in and said, “Baby girl!” Her husband continued, “We knew the gender of the baby but our family didn’t. Nobody else here except for Jana knew.” So it sounds like they worked hard to make sure John’s twin was specially included in the announcement.
“I’m so excited about hair bows and pink dresses and lots of sparkle,” Abbie said in the reveal video. “I just hope she’s as pretty as her mommy. I know she will be,” John added.
Counting On fans took to Jana’s comments to express their excitement over the fact that her twin will welcome his first daughter in the coming months. “Congratulations on another niece!! So many girls 😍😍❤️❤️,” one person wrote. Another follower responded, “I bet this is extra special than other nieces and nephews since this is your twins baby girl💗.”
John’s daughter will be one of many granddaughters in the Duggar family expected by the end of 2019 and possibly into 2020. Ivy Jane Seewald was the first in the pack, and Anna Keller and Josh Duggar, Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell and Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson are all expecting girls. (Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth were also going to welcome their first daughter, Annabell Elise, but sadly experienced a miscarriage which they revealed on July 3.)
