Hold up, are the Duggars relaxing their rules when it comes to secular music? In the past, the family has shunned popular tunes, but on Saturday, August 3, Jana Duggar chatted with a fan on Instagram about finding the perfect guy — and she referenced a Michael Bublé song in her comment. The topic came up after the star posted a gorgeous photo of herself in a new dress. In the responses to her post, one fan wrote, “Would love to see you finding your handsome prince. 😊”

Though some of the Counting On star’s followers chewed out the original commenter for suggesting that Jana needs a man to be happy, it seems she didn’t mind it too much herself. “Maybe he’s riding in on a green turtle instead of a white horse,” she joked back, playfully suggesting that his slow ride might be the reason it’s taking him so long. “Still searching for Mr. Right. In the words of Michael Bublé, ‘Just haven’t met [him] yet!'”

Some fans were surprised to see the star reference the Canadian crooner’s hit “Haven’t Met You Yet.” In the comments, one wrote back, “Loving that you listen to music. I wasn’t sure if your family were allowed? Great choice of artist though. 👍🏻” It seems Michael Bublé may have made the family’s list of approved secular singers, though. After all, Jana isn’t the only Duggar to be caught listening to his music.

Back in December 2018, her little brother Josiah Duggar also revealed that he and wife Lauren Swanson had been listening to the musician’s Christmas covers. The young couple enjoyed the Bublé version of “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” while taking in holiday sites and decorations. At the time, it didn’t seem too scandalous — after all, lots of the older Duggars make their own rules once they’re married and out of the house — but given the fact that Jana is still living under her parents’ roof, her choice of tunes is a little more surprising.
