How Many Kids Do John David And Abbie Want? Well, Definitely Not 19!
John David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett tied the knot earlier this month, but how many kids do they want? The cute couple already answered that question… at their wedding!
Just prior to reciting their vows, the pastor joked that JD hoped to “outdo” his father in the children department. “This is John and Abbie’s day, and I’ll tell ya, in rehearsal, John said he wants to outdo his father in the number of children,” he said in a new TLC clip as John quickly shook his head and chimed in, “I don’t know about that.”
In a separate clip shared by the network, John David’s sister Joy-Anna revealed she got emotional when he brought Abbie home for the first time. “When John walked in with Abbie, we were all there, and yeah he was like, ‘Hey guys, this is my girlfriend!’ And I literally started crying because I was like, ‘You’re kidding me. Is this a joke or is this real?’ the new mom told cameras. “And then I was like, ‘John wouldn’t do this for just a joke.’ I was really shocked.”
TBH, we’re not sure if those were tears of joy or tears of relief…
The 28-year-old’s single twin sister, Jana, was even beginning to wonder if the right girl would ever come along. “It’s crazy to think John is at this point in his life because for the longest time I was like, ‘OK, is he ever going to, you know, get married?’ And now he’s at this point, and she’s just, I think, perfect for him.” she said. “They complete each other.”
So is a pregnancy announcement around the corner? Only time will tell!
